Adacel clinches $10M US Army sim contract

Adacel Technologies has been selected by the US Army to supply simulation systems, software and hardware for its Air Traffic Control Common Simulator (ACS) programme.

The contract covers a five year Basic Purchasing Agreement (BPA) and will generate over $10 million in revenue, with Adacel’s high fidelity simulators to be deployed to multiple military locations around the world.

In September, Adacel was awarded an eight year contract extension by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration for supply of conflict detection software to Lockheed Martin Corporation.

The U.S. Army contract is another significant win for Adacel, which is capitalised at around $42 million and currently trading near three-year highs.
