29 14.15

Expected ATC delay at 14:15 GMT

Greek air traffic controllers have called off a three-hour stoppage scheduled for Thursday, their union announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Controllers in France, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, and Cyprus will go on strike for periods ranging anything from 15 minutes to several hours today and tomorrow in protest at plans by the European Commission to cut costs.

These plans are subject to change, and cancellation and Eurocontrol plans to hold regular teleconference to provide updated information about the foreseen industrial action.
